This bird was hopping all over so not able to get close enough to capture it. I zoomed in take this picture so he wasn't as close as it looks. It also was able to fly. Tyco did not call me back when I left a message. The bird slept in my tall bush last night. I left out food and water. The bird was gone this morning. Tried everything I could.

I think he may have . This is not a normal position for a parakeet to be in, especially laying on the ground.

Please help the bird. It can't survive on is own. It's probably someone's escaped pet. The wildfire smoke is very bad for pet birds. It needs your help. It also looks like it's tail is missing.
