Dolly was placed at a foster due to her owner having to go to a facility due to dementia. Dolly was in the foster families barn with another cat. We think she may have gotten out.

Kimberly Allen Loy I would hire BRAVO, MAR Search Dog it would helpe a lot to get an idea of where she is. She is not in her territory so if she runs off due to unfamiliarity and other cats, life will be hard for her. They could give you a direction and where trail ends so you can do food station and then trap.

Sey Q. Theye so she left the foster homes barn. Yes - they are putting food out for her. It’s hard to say if she is eating or or not bc there are 2 other cats in the area and one in the barn.

Here is another graphic, she would be considered a displaced cat since she lost in an unfamiliar area. You might want to secure a scent item if you have one by putting something with just her sent on it in a ziploc bag in the freezer and consider hiring Bravo K911, her dog is very good at figuring out the path a lost pet has taken.

Kimberly Allen Loy I guess a few things, she is probably confused and frightened, so don't assume she is necessary out of the barn, she could just be hiding in silence, which cats in this situation can do. They can get into very small hiding spots. Have the foster put food out still for her in the barn, and if she can put a camera on it she can see who is eating the food. You can use trail cameras like hunters do, but place them low to the ground so they are at a cat's level or a tiny bit higher and at least 5 feet or so away. Is she normally skittish? I see that her ear is clipped. Here is a graphic made by a local pet detective. Please look at it and share with the barn owner. Be sure no one chases her if they see her, they need to be quiet and let her come to them. You may want to strategically place a second food bowl in a safe area outside the barn too, with another camera on it, not sure where to tell you to do this unless know more...if it has only been a few days, she may not be ready to show herself, but if it is a busy, noisy barn, and she has a timid or skittish personality she may leave the barn.

Was she just in the barn or in a room or cat condo?
