Message from Owner

She got out because the room she was in had the door blown open last night during storm. She's going to be terrified. She's used to being fed daily. She is a sweet girl once she trusts you. Please call

Rent or borrow a humane trap. The SPCA and other animal shelters rent them out for $100. When you return the trap you get your $100 back. Place the trap near where the cat escaped. Put some of the cat's favorite food and treats inside of the trap along with an article of your clothing with your scent on it. This method worked for me on two different occasions. If you trap the wrong cat or some other animal, put a blanket over the trap leaving the door exposed. Stand behind the trap and release the animal. Reset the trap. Time is of the essence so do this asap. Good luck and God bless.

Please get a humane trap place the trap where the cat escaped from. Put the stinkiest cat food inside the trap cover of the trap with a towel or blanket. You do this at night. Heat beef, broth, or chicken broth pour it from the trap around your house. The cats going to be hungry, smell the broth and go into the trap. Talk to your neighbors. Do they have the ring doorbell? Do they see your cat moving around? also check with your neighbors in their garages and sheds the cat could be hiding in either one. Believe me this really works my cat was missing for eight weeks until I found information on YouTube lost cat Detective Kimberly Freeman. Kimberly gave the best information on how to find my lost indoor cat.

Hang some of your unwashed clothing outside where the kitty can catch your scent

Owner, try leaving the exit point open a little tonight at dark. Secure any other pets in another room if necessary. Keep lights off & house quiet. If you have a video doorbell or motion activated camera, use it to alert you if there’s motion. Do not go outside once you leave the door open at dark. Very often they will wait until it’s dark & then they return to exactly where they got out & they’ll try to get back in. Put some of your dirty laundry outside the exit point for scent. Do not put the litter box outside as it will attract other male cats who will prevent your cat from returning. If you can’t leave the exit point open after dark, you’ll need to set a humane trap there at dark & monitor it by camera or from an inside window. Do not go outside once you set the trap so your cat feels comfortable approaching. The chances of your cat approaching a stranger, approaching you, or being seen during daylight hours is very low. Your cat is in survival mode if it’s indoor only.
