This little guy showed up last night (aug 12th) around 9pm and is convinced he lives nearby. Would love to find his family. I know they must miss him!

Thank you for helping this cat! Here are some tips to help you find the owner: - If there’s a neighborhood Facebook page where the cat was found, post on there right away to reach the people who live in that area. Hopefully, it lives nearby. - Put up FOUND CAT flyers all around the neighborhood or area where the cat was found with its picture and your contact info. - If there are adjacent neighborhoods close to where the cat was found, put flyers in those areas as well, because pets are not always aware of boundaries between neighborhoods and may accidentally wander from one to another, unaware that they’re getting further and further away from home. - Email a copy of your FOUND CAT flyer to Animal Control to hang in their lobby in case the owner goes there looking for their missing cat. - Take the cat to be scanned for a microchip. Any Veterinarian will do it for free, and could help to track down the owner. - If someone does come forward claiming to be the owner, please get absolute proof of ownership, as some people will claim to own pets that are not actually theirs, sometimes for nefarious purposes, and innocent pets could end up as Bait in dog fighting rings.
