Someone NEEDS to come get their Furbaby STAT! I am highly allergic of cats and auto immune. This furbaby climbed into my attic (which is over my master bedroom) I literally woke with my chest frozen in pain having a major asthma attack. Then I started hearing noises and crying and I could tell it was a cat. I called over my neighbor and sure enough he went into the attic (which is redone with top end insulation) and the cat had been there probably a good day. We let the cat go and it would not go home. It continued to cry by the front door. As a sign of decency I put water out in case it was dehydrated and some Tuna. It clearly has a collar, we thought it just got trapped in the attic from a slant damaged from the hard storms recently and which will be repaired next week. What does this dumb azz do? Again in my attic and it sent me into a massive attack that caused me an URGENT CARE visit! This cat then climbed up under my car and could have been ed when I started the car. It will not stop crying and wants INDOORS! CLEARLY, this cat wasn't born a "hood" Gato! Someone please take this cat that wants an indoor lover. It can't stay here, if it doesn't leave my yard by Monday I will call 311 and have the city collect it under the cat is a hazard to my health and it clearly is a hazard to it's own health! So, someone - anyone please come collect Non-HoodGATO!

Some steps you can take. What to do if you find a Cat 1. Please give the cat some food and water. 2. See if the cat has tags. If so, owner can be traced through rabies or microchip tag. 3. If you can safely transport, please take to your nearest vet, Pet Store or shelter to have checked for a microchip. 4. If no ID on cat, post on nextdoor and the Ring Neighbor app. 5. Post on pawboost. You can download a free flyer here. 6. Make a found report to all local shelters 7. Post on PetFBI site. .org is the ending for that site. 8. Post on FB Lost & Found Groups and your Neighborhood group if there is one. 9. If you cannot hold onto for a day or two while searching for the owner, please arrange for the local shelter to take. The cat will go through a legal stray hold if not claimed. This is a last resort as the cat may belong to a neighbor. Some areas allow cats to roam under the TNR ordinance and some do not.
