Cheyenne's Owner Says

Thank you to the person that had Cheyenne and surrendering her to SPCA. Cheyenne chipped failed scanning at original scanning when found. When surrendered after 4 months SPCA scanned multiple time and they kept trying! 10 am on Wednesday I received the call she was safe and had been taken care of. I posted her poster 11 times on back door, More then once a cat appeared and asked to see cat or additional photos. Was denied any views and stayed diligent to view cat. The CHIP WAS THE PROOF, CHIPS FAIL!!! DO NOT GIVE UP, KEEP PHOTO OUT THERE. THANKS TO SPCA for not giving up on scan.

Demeree Jameson I believe Cheyenne was found but the person will not let me see her. She does not live far from me. Trying to make a neutral party meeting at Vet she will not respond to date. Its her Vet. Should have no concerns.

Put litterbox outside so he or she can smell their own scent and find their way home easier. Don’t leave food outside because that could attract predators or stray cats and scare he or she off. Go for a walk around the area and call from the car then sit outside your house and call for him or her and also just talk in your normal voice and have a conversation with someone. They eventually hear you and smell their scent and find their way. Repeat this every day until she or he comes home. Also check neighbor garages.

flyers on porches a block around. talk to neighbors. wont go far. be patient. inside cats get scared outside and may not answer when called. A neighbor five doors down kept the flyer and after 6 weeks when I had given up she called and had spotted my cat hiding in the front bushes exactly where I'd called for him dozens of times.. best to call when it's quiet like at night
