Description

Black cat (no white fur), 10 years old, 12 lbs. Crooked tail, black whiskers, & white scar on the inside of back leg from an old injury. White nails. Can meow a lot when scared or wants attention. He's an indoor cat so he's out of his element outside. Please text me if you spot him! Thank-you!

Message from Owner

Hitch has been in my family for over 10 years. He was born in a Japanese nursery (the kind with plants) and was rescued when he was 8 weeks old. He is very needy for attention and companionship (human and other cats). His cat companion past a couple of months ago and has missed his buddy terribly. He is perfectly imperfect--beautiful cat but with a crooked tail and bad teeth. He loves his belly rubs and to be held like a baby. He can be vocal if he's scared or wants attention.

Post hitch on the Nextdoor app. It covers your area and theyโ€™re always lots of lost and found on there. Good luck I hope he comes home.

***POST NEXTDOOR, RING NEIGHBORHOOD, PET FBI, PETCO LOVE LOST, PAWBOOST Check โœ”๏ธ Humane Society, Animal Shelters In-Person DAILY. Some Keep Pets 5 Days then put up for Adoption. Boots on the ground - Walk ur neighborhood 2X DAILY, DAY & NIGHT checking window wells, under decks, inside bushes, sheds, garages, behind AC units, dumpsters, under staircases. Indoor Cats don't go far, usually close by. Others hide during the day and roam @ night when it's quiet. Shake bag of cat food or treats, walking, calling by name, saying are u hungry, Bring a flashlight, search day & night. Knock on doors. Post Flyer's on neighbor's doors

Please post cross streets. Get out calling Kitty's name especially early and late when it's quiet. Search high and low with a flashlight. Put up posters with number large enough to be seen while driving. And post on next door

I hope this helps. Make flyers and hand them out to your neighbors. Ask them to check their garages and sheds, and let you know if they see him. If there are apartments or churches nearby, see about putting up flyers in common areas - laundry rooms, mailbox kiosks. Some churches still have old fashioned bulletin boards. Bring treats or a favorite food, and a flashlight, when you go out to look for him. Good luck and DON'T give up! ๐Ÿซ‚
