Microchip? ID Tags on? I newly adopted dog is stressed and will slip out of a collar on leash and run. There is an adjustment period for any animal to feel like a new home is its home. It can take a year to feel like home and you must make sure the dog is safe and contained. Never travel with a lose dog or cat in the vehicle! Use a pet taxi or a dog seatbelt. This is all preventable. Adoption agencies should teach this to new adopters and the public.

Hannah Gainey I wouldn’t have even responded because people love to be judgmental like things don’t happen. They are clearly some perfect patties and nothing ever goes wrong or unexpected for them Ugh!! 🙄
