German Shepard mix, appears to be a puppy. Had a green and red collar with no tags.

We found the sweetest puppy on Franklin Street tonight in between the Cleveland Academy of Leadership and the Franklin School. She does have a collar on, but no tags identifying an owner. She seems to be a puppy, and we are thinking some sort of a German Shepard mix. She is very friendly and knows how to sit/ shake which makes us think she belongs to someone who must be missing her. We took her to the emergency vet and she is chipped, but the phone number was out of service. We were able to find out her name is Mazakine (may not be spelled that way). If you know of anyone missing their baby, please share! We are keeping her with us while we look for her family, but appreciate others sharing as well.

Try to see if the chip company can tell you who actually purchased the chip (vet, shelter, rescue) and see if they recognize the pup.

Maybe you could try SPD to see if they can locate the owner since the phone is disconnected.

Make flyers with pictures saying FOUND DOG. Put up 1-4 miles from where found. Not everyone has social media
