So sorry kitty is missing. My indoor only cat got out during construction and was missing for a week. Post on Next Door. If chipped, report missing to the chip company and ensure they have up to date contact info for you. File a missing report with the shelter online. I read indoor cats usually only stray 5-10 houses so I went door to door in a radius around my house and asked neighbors if I could search their backyards and under sheds. I also handed them a flyer. I walked around at night calling my cat and shining a flashlight in bushes to try to spot eyes. I cracked my garage slightly and put a lot of dirty laundry i.e. dirty sheets and blankets which helps with a scent trail. A neighbor spotted my cat in the storm drain closest to my house. I never thought to look there. It took 3 days after knowing she was in there until she came out. I do not have Ring, so I bought cheap motion sensor cameras and set them up at both doors that sent motion alerts to my phone.Good tips here: www.catsinthebag.org

Alert microchip company and your vet asap. Make sure contact info is updated. Put some clothing or blanket with YOUR scent on them outside so she can hopefully pick up scent and follow back. Calling his name and checking periodically during the night and the early morning hous when all is quiet is BEST. It may have to be done more than once and for more than one night. It usually works. Post on pawboost(it's free just ignore payment and upgrades; make/print free flyers and put them up everywhere). Post on nextdoor and Ring. Knock on neighbors doors and give them flyers. Check area shelters IN PERSON and OFTEN giving them flyers, too.Read More
Put up flyers around several blocks, notify neighbors and check with shelters. Check storm drains and ask neighbors to check their backyards sheds and bushes. Set out some worn clothing etc. Don't give up,
