Pugs can't cool the hot air they breathe. 😔 That's the reason it's a matter of life and death to bring them inside to air conditioning. Same with all short-nosed dogs like bulldogs and boxers. Years ago I noticed a dead pug in a backyard because a crow was flying over. The owners had left the pup outside with water and shade. Still, the heat of the summer killed the poor girl.
