Found/Stray Dog in Lafayette, LA 70507

📍 LOCATION FOUND: Found hanging out for the past week or so near high meadows blvd. in Lafayette, LA. ♂️/♀️ GENDER: Malr COLLAR/LEASH: No collar. TEMPERAMENT: He is currently safe and contained. Very friendly / sweet / quiet. Really likes people / treats. 😅. He even let us put him in the tub and bathe him after only interacting for a half an hour or so. A little underweight, but other than that he is healthy. GOAL: I am looking for the owner first, but if an owner isn't found, I want to ensure this dog goes to a 100% no- rescue environment. I am looking for a safe foster network or private rescue placement to help keep them out of the municipal shelter system.
