As I was leaving Centennial High School this morning around 7:45 a.m., I saw this dog trotting south on Hurst Road. I pulled up beside it to check for a collar, but I noticed right away how heavily matted and unkempt it was. The dog wasn’t wearing a collar and seemed very skittish. It eventually ran down a dirt driveway. There are several s off S. Hurst (which becomes N. Hurst at that point), so the dog could belong to someone in the area. However, based on its condition, it also seemed possible that it may be lost, abandoned, or not being cared for properly. Posting this in case someone is missing this dog and wants to help get it back .
