Green Quaker parrot (Monk parakeet) named Kiki. Small/medium size, mostly green with blue tips on her wings, light grayish chest and face, and a light peach-colored beak.

Message from Owner

Very friendly but may be scared. She responds to the name Kiki and may come closer if called or if she hears other birds. Last seen in the Eureka/Kendall area (Miami, FL). She may be perched in trees, rooftops, or hiding in yards or balconies. If seen, please do not chase — she may fly away. 📞 Please contact me immediately with any information.

Here are some ideas to assist in your search. *Create a post on Pawboost, NextDoor & Ring, if you haven’t already. *During the daytime: use a wireless Bluetooth speaker to broadcast flock calls or your voice, shake treat bags or anything that might attract attention to food, put the cage out where it can be seen. *During the evening when searching is over, design & print off flyers with photo & contact information. These can be encased in a ziplock to keep weatherproof & posted in areas where allowed like parks, poles & any nearby gathering areas. Also drop off some at vet clinics, pet supply stores, anything within a 5 mile radius. Contact local shelters/rescues & even the police dept - they do pick up found/stray pets all the time. Make sure the world knows - neighbors esp ones that have bird feeders/baths/pools. Hand them out while searching the area. Join every local social media group there is. Run an ad in your local newspaper - some run one for free in lost & found (or cheap). Also check with local bird watcher groups - they’re always out & about. Flyers cannot be placed in mailboxes. *PLEASE CHECK WITH LOCAL ANIMAL SHELTERS & FILE A MISSING PET REPORT*
