Was he injured or distressed? He may've just been on a romp, looking for a handout where he's found that before. Walk all around this neighborhood with the dog, talking with neighbors! He may show you where he lives. He looks healthy. Put up fliers. Avis isn't a terribly high traffic road - lots of woods. Hope he can be seen in your fence if the owner comes by looking. Best of luck for this situation.

Thank you for being the baby’s Hero, Bless you 🙏❤️You can take to YoungWilliamsAnimal Shelter for safety, owners will check there,Please be careful who tries to claim, make whoever show good proof of ownership, not pics they can be altered, There are Horrible Evil people out there looking for free Bait and Cult dogs, it’s a Horrible Death 😢They even send Teenagers and Wives to claim 😢Please be careful 🙏❤️

If able, try posting on the local Nextdoor app (if possible), lost .petcolove .org and watching craigslist. If you post to other groups, be sure to add the county, city and state to your posting since the posting may be shared nationally. Also, take flyers to shelters and vet offices with a photo and report the pet found. They have a board for both lost and found pets. Remember, not everyone is on Social Media. (IF able, try taking to a vet to check for a microchip too. Ask for proof of ownership by either vet records or a picture from the phone.)
