Can someone please help find my sisters dog, Lucita. She is 6 years old and has recently given birth to four puppies. Her puppies are only 4 weeks old and need her.

Marla Renee Hilmer No never, we’ve had her for 4 years and never wanted her to be pregnant. However our fault we didn’t get her spayed but her never expected her to one day get pregnant from another dog when she ran out. However we cared for her through the process and are giving away the puppies to close people we know that will care for them. We just wanted her back.

The closest shelter to you would be the El Cajon shelter. Please file a lost report with them and check their website and actually physically go to the shelter to look for her. Post flyers in your area with your contact info and post on the Nextdoor app, the Ring/Neighbors app and with PawBoost. If she has a microchip, contact the microchip company and file a report with them as well and also be sure it is registered to your name with your contact info. Praying she is found safe and soon. Are the puppies eating on their own or are you bottle feeding them?
