Message from Owner

It's a little different than a regular Cat and Person relationship. He started coming around where I live about 2 years ago, well he was SUPER CONSISTENT on coming around and even kept wanting to come inside. Well I caved and let him in and the rest is history. So he(I call him Mr. Kitty), because "kitty" is the only name he knows or answers too, wasn't fixed. So he would leave and be gone for 60-80% of the day, and would come at night. Well Mr. Kitty hasn't been back in close to 3 weeks now and I've been checking all of the pet shelters in and around the Denver area. But nothing. And it's REALLY not like him to be gone for more than a full day and night. So if you've seen him, please let me know when and where. And I'm near 64th and Federal. Ways to identify him: Mr. Kitty is all grey, has about 5 to 6 rings around his tail, and he has yellow eyes. Weight: 8lbs-10lbs. He has 2 fairly new abcess openings one on each of his front legs. The front right leg has an opening on the outside and the front left leg has one on the inside of his leg. He also has a pretty scarred up head/face. I don't know what else to do, or who else to turn to.

Get out calling kitty's name especially early and late when it's quiet. Search high and low with a flashlight. And put up posters with number large enough to be seen while driving. And post on next door com

General Information: Hang clothes with your scent on it (Worn clothing from owner) high up outside so the familiar scent can travel and guide the cat back home. Ask your neighbors to check their yard/could be accidently stuck in their garage or shed. (If applicable) Check doorbell or home camera - or ask neighbors to check their camera. Post Fliers with a picture of the cat and your contact information in the area the cat went missing. Not everyone is on Social Media and posters have worked in that if spotted a location can be provided. If a cat is scared they make themselves safe by finding a good hiding spot and often times hide in silence. Look in bushes - bring a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Best time to find your cat is in the early morning hours when the noise level is low and they feel safe. Leave an access point open for the cat to return. This is important if they do come back in the middle of the night. Prayers your cat returns/ or is found safely. Beware of scammers.
