Message from Owner

Our 6 month old male kitten Oscar slipped out the door when my husband was letting in our dog from being in the back yard. He has a very fluffy tail but is rather short haired on the rest of his body. Please please keep an eye out for him. Location is 1602 Lincoln Road right off Kirby Avenue in between intersections of Mayfair and Prospect. He loves human food. He really doesn’t respond to his name. Good with dogs and other cats.

Not sure if they ever found their cat. But this boy has a pretty fluffy tail. But looks like he has a new home.

• SUGGESTED STEPS TO TAKE IF YOUR CAT IS MISSING • Put their box outside (some think this may attract other animals) • Put a blanket or clothing out with their smell on it • Put their food out (preferably during the day to avoid raccoons or possums • Notify Animal Control and Cuhumane.org • Get a trap, move their food closer then inside day by day • Talk to neighbors to make sure they are not trapped in a garage or shed, or under a deck • Often they are not far, possibly under bushes near your house Good luck finding your cat. https://www.humaneworld.org/en/resources/how-find-lost-cat

I live very near there and will keep an eye out. It was a neighbor who saw my post and led to my orange boy coming home when he got out this past August.
