Melinda Honaker But what I worry about is because the place that he ran off from was not his home he don't know that neighborhood at all like he was just pulled out of my son's house a couple weeks before I took him to my friend's house so he was still in kind of a little bit of a trauma limbo because when my son went to jail I had to go rescue the cat he'd been alone for a couple days and so when I brought him here to my apartment I had them for a couple weeks but I have lung issues and I I just can't have a long-haired cat especially one that was smelling like smoke for my son's house and so dirty so friend from church offered to Foster him until my son got out of jail and then few days after she had them he took off I feel so bad I'm so worried

Melinda Honaker thank you so much for giving me that relief because I'm so worried and my son is heart is just broken right now he's got like three more weeks of jail to go and he's just hoping to find his cat when he gets out I'm going to take some things with scent tomorrow to my friend's house where he departed from and hopefully it will keep him close to her place if he doesn't choose to go back in because of the big dog that showed up at her house and scared him I just pray that he's safe I ask God everyday to keep him safe until we can find him

PJ Priola most cats will stay within a 5 or 6 block radius unless chased or pushed further. I have seen cats be 4 blocks from home for 6 or 7 months and the owner finds them. Don't give up keep getting your scent out there. Signs are a great way to get the word out into the neighborhood.

Paula Valentino that is not his home territory he has lived in Odessa the past 4 years so he's a Long Way From Home and I live on Massachusetts this was a friend's house she was going to Foster House him until my son got out so he don't even know that neighborhood so I'm really scared I'm very worried do you think he would wonder out of that neighborhood trying to get back to Odessa I mean that's a long way off? Now when he lived with me in Holiday he took off one time and was gone for like oh my gosh two weeks but it came back but The Foster House he was in had nine other cats and then a big stray dog showed up and that's what scared him and he went over the fence so I don't know what to think I'm just at a loss here and I've been in and out of the hospital so I haven't had a chance lately to get over there I know that my friend is keeping an eye out for him

Melinda Honaker okay thank you so much that makes sense do you think that he would still be in that neighborhood like it's been a month now and he doesn't know that area he's actually was pulled out of Odessa so do you think you would cling to that neighborhood or do you think that he would wander down to Madison and elsewhere other neighborhoods?
