Message from Finder

This poor dog was shuffling down the middle of the street with a FedEx guy following him, trying to get him over to safety. He’s not chipped, no collar. I think he’s at least partially blind and deaf. He hasn’t barked. He has little spurs all over his coat. He has stuff in his eyes. Just so sad. I pray someone recognizes this dog. I cannot keep him. :(

Here are some guidance steps of additional things to do IF YOU FIND A DOG: • Please contact the local animal shelter to file a found report or have them come pick up the dog (THIS IS A MUST). That’s the first place people look for their missing pets and not everyone is on social media. • Post the dog on Nextdoor, Ring and local FB lost & found pages. • Hang “Found” signs within the neighborhood, as not everyone is on social media. • Walk the dog around the neighborhood to see if anyone recognizes him/her and if he/she leads you to its home.
