Very affectionate, still kitten, possibly 2 to 4 months old gray tabby, trying to make friends with my cat outside

My cat would never accept another cat. I feel so badly for this kitten. She’s so desperate I believe she is lost or a runaway. This kitty is very thirsty and hungry so I put a little water out and food before I went to bed next morning. It was all gone. The kitty was gone as well
