Found this sweet scared baby, on the side of Victor hill & McElrath rd - she is malnourished, had a choker collar on & her hip seems to be hurt (not sure if it’s just from being so skinny or she got injured, she pooped & no blood was found in it) The grass was matted completely down indicating she has been laying there awhile. We have fed her and gave her water (she lapped it up) we have her in a safe place, hoping that she ran away and someone is looking for her! Tried to get her in the truck to see if she can be scanned but she was too scared to allow us to pick her up…

Yeah - she doesn’t seem to be in pain at all- her pad is sliced open so I think that’s why she was limping and probably bc she was malnourished- we are putting stuff of her pad and giving her food and water and shelter

Poor baby she's got such a sweet face. Is she walking on her back leg? She's pretty.

Prong callers are not bad, if they are used correctly! They certainly should not be left on a dog when not actively walking the dog. Who knows how the dog got away. Many people don't use Facebook so please post on Craigslist and make the people bring photos of them and their dog to prove it's theirs. Then file a report with the humane society so that they can hopefully follow through to make sure the dog gets adequate clear.
