Found this sweet scared baby, on the side of Victor hill & McElrath rd - she is malnourished, had a choker collar on & her hip seems to be hurt (not sure if it’s just from being so skinny or she got injured, she pooped & no blood was found in it) The grass was matted completely down indicating she has been laying there awhile. We have fed her and gave her water (she lapped it up) we have her in a safe place, hoping that she ran away and someone is looking for her! Tried to get her in the truck to see if she can be scanned but she was too scared to allow us to pick her up…

This is so heartbreaking! Do you know anyone that has a chip reader? I thought maybe someone could scan her for you. I hope she wasn’t dumped. Those eyes look sad. I wish I could take every precious dog in. It hurts my heart so deeply. Thank you so much for feeding her and giving her a place to stay. So very kind of you❤️

Linda Niday if you’re volunteering your time to do so it would be a wonderful idea! I personally do not, I have her secure safe and fed loved and watered - I don’t know that I necessarily want to find whoever left her like this with a choker collar on TBH looking for a good home would be best

Make flyers with picture saying FOUND DOG. Put up 1-4 miles from where found. Not everyone has social media
