Message from Owner

She’s the sweetest cat with the cutest high pitched meow. She’s very skittish of people she doesn’t know,

Post on all your local animal groups and next-door app and keep a daily eye open at those groups. Let the pound know he is missing and keep a daily eye open at your local pound. Put some of your dirty clothing outside and something of kitty's and kitty's fur sibling outside for him to smell their way home. Also go out between the early hours like 3am to 5am and call and look for your baby. I hope you get your baby back.

Put up flyers. Indoor cats do not go far. Go out with a flashlight at night and during the day and shine it or look under dark hiding places like bushes, plants, and under cars, fences and things. Ask neighbors to check their sheds and garages. Call and walk the neighborhood and rattle his kibble bag. Call at the doors, and keep checking often all hours to see if he returns. Put out something unwashed with your scent on it. Check Pawboost, lost and found pets, Petco, and Petsmart and the nearest shelter. Get her chipped and build her a catio so she can enjoy fresh air and enrichment. Also, consider putting out a trap with his favorite food, cover with something with your scent, or his blanket or toy. He may be nearby.

Search at midnight-5am too call for ur kitten, listen for her meow

Have neighbors check garages and sheds. Have a tree out back? Check that too. Leave your garage door up a little so they can return home to a familiar place. Place a box outside with blankets or even the clothes you wore today so a cat can pick up the scent and make it home. If you are new to this area, have friends keep an eye out at your former home. And please: CHECK THE LOCAL SHELTERS DAILY I hope your kitty makes it back home safe very soon. Please make sure to get your cat chipped once they return, and PLEASE keep them indoors! PLEASE NEVER LOSE HOPE! LOOK UP! Cats are great climbers and looking for them on the ground only is limiting your search. Male wanderers tend to stay within a territory of about 150 acres, while females stay closer to home, roaming only about 40 acres. This means that your average male cat is likely to stay within 1500 feet of home, while your average female tends not to go much farther than 75 yards from your door. Be careful of the lost pet finders. Most of them are playing on your emotions and wanting cash up front.! https://www.pawboost.com/?utm_source=facebook&utm_campaign=report_pet_alert_link_lost Sacramento SPCA | (916) 383-7387 Front Street Shelter | 311 or (916) 808-7387 Bradshaw Animal Shelter | 311 or (916) 368-7387 Elk Grove Animal Services | (916) 691-2489 or (916) 714-5115
