Message from Owner

I have rescued Pennywise not once, but twice. I found him outside a motel when my apmt was flooded, I finally managed to catch him a week later. I did the correct steps, and took him too see if he had a microchip and they had a required hold. I told them if he didn’t have an owner, I wanted to adopt him. I promised him I would come back for him. The day the hold was to be lifted I got a call that he had been taken home by his owners and he was happy. I didn’t believe it. So, I kept searching. Posted him on the lost and found page in a nearby city l, and was that he was by a local rescue. Turns out they saved his life by seeing his potential. I moved just so I could have the ability to have more cats and adopted. I love this boy so much. I can’t believe this is happening. If you see him, please let me know. He is going to be very very scared of any person, but with food, calmness, and distance, he is able to be won over. I was in the process of moving back to the east coast and have delayed the moved 4 days since to try and catch him, but have been unsuccessful. I need help, please bring my baby home.

Check in bushes and under cars near your home, and check on the next street over, especially in the evening with a flashlight, calling out to him and making a familiar sound. And ask neighbors if he may be trapped in their garage or shed. I hope he is found soon🙏🏻

General Information: Set up a scent station. Hang clothes with your scent on it (Worn clothing from owner) high up outside so the familiar scent can travel and guide the cat back home. Ask your neighbors to check their yard/could be accidently stuck in their garage or shed. (If applicable) Check doorbell or home camera - or ask neighbors to check their camera. Post Fliers with a picture of the cat and your contact information in the area the cat went missing. Not everyone is on Social Media and posters have worked in that if spotted a location can be provided. If a cat is scared they make themselves safe by finding a good hiding spot and often times hide in silence. Look in bushes - bring a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Best time to find your cat is in the early morning hours when the noise level is low and they feel safe. Leave an access point open for the cat to return. This is important if they do come back in the middle of the night. Prayers your cat returns/ or is found safely. Beware of scammers.
