KEEP IN MIND THESE ARE IDEAS AND SUGGESTIONS ( THEY MIGHT NOT BE FOR YOUR AREA BUT YOU GET WHAT STEPS TO TAKE AND TURN ) Here is somethings to do and look. Sorry if there is things about cats in here too but I have been copying and pasting for different lost pets . Have you checked Metro Animal Control in Puyallup ? They have a website too not if it shows lost and found pets, I know that Puyallup has their own. When you went to the Tacoma humane society did you check the book for lost and found pets that might be injured too bad or....... They will tell you to come in and look at the book from the last date you saw your pet to current. Check with the vet offices near by and have them put it in their lost and found books, go a little past your area too just in case someone took it to another vet Tahoma Vet ( by Bethel High) , VCA pacific ave and past 5 12 freeway , Parkland Vet , Sumner Vet , Blue Pearl ( both of these are emergency vets ) , River Road vet , Check with the schools near by since kids tend to be around and notice pets that come on the school grounds and check the parking lot under cars etc (PLEASE GET PERMISSION FOR THE STAFF FROM THE SCHOOL FIRST THE LAST THING YOU WANT IS FOR THE SHERIFF'S TO BE CALLED FOR POSSIBLE VEHICLE THEFT OR YOU GET THE IDEA ) Of course look under brush, under houses , under vehicles that are not running, up a tree ( if yes on that call Canopy Cat they are donation based ) sometimes if a pet is injured the humane society will post something brief on the website and once they get the pet stable they will post a picture. Post flyers in the area , talk with the neighbors have them look on their property, Walk along the road shaking some treats the pet likes , call its name and then quietly listen , then walk a few more feet or so and repeat . Check nearby feilds and places that are overgrown with bushes or long grass. If there are fallen trees or logs or wood that has been cut up check around them carefully. Look in the ditches by roads and driveways that have the drainage tubes a cat or small dog can definentlty hide in there . Since we don't have a location this is just in general and an idea . Always check the Tacoma Humane Society website 3 -4 times a day especially around 6 pm after hours, that is the last update of what came in for that day. And if its been past 3/4 days check with the adoption side because after 3 days of being a stray status it goes up for adoption. Tacoma Humane Society website will say they are closed today ( monday ) BUT they are not closed ONLY FOR ADOPTIONS !!! You can still go in and look at the animals and look at the book . Check on Craigslist too in the pet section. In Eatonville area , check with the vet in their lost and found book. Also check with the Town Hall and the Police Department I have seen that they / or some one has posted found dogs before, maybe they have heard or seen.. There is also the feed store at 304th and meridian across from the gas station. King Feed on Mountain highway just south of 304th right after the light. Keep checking with the Tacoma Humane society I have noticed that some pets that have gone up for adoption have not been on the Found page on their website, which means that they have a LARGE amount of found, that could have been injured and they took care of them and after weeks they are up for adoption. NEVER GIVE UP.If the pet has a microchip contact the company for the microchip and let them know the pet is lost / missing / stolen ( whatever the case is ) and they can put the alert on the chip number so if someone finds it, the vet or whoever will scan to see if there is a chip, and an alert will let them know its a lost / missing / stolen pet. Check on Nextdoor also. Post on every Facebook lost and found pages ( there is a lot ) and check shelters that are not in your area too , if someone to your pet it can be anywhere .

Joseph Vail yeah, it’s torn down. A lot of my signs are in this area. It’s two weeks since she’s been missing, and it’s actually my birthday today. I just got back from work, but I’m gonna spend the rest of my night putting out more flyers, all alone because I have no one else to help me and it really does take a long time to do all this on foot and people just keep tearing them down. I feel so helpless.

Someone was tryna tear down the poster at the bus stop this morning by Hops and Drops and I actively yelled at them not to do that - I hope this kitty is found, I'd be in pieces if my fur babies were lost
