Damia Fotiyes, we are out every night. Izzy is familiar with the neighborhood and not likely scared. She's either trapped, taken or eaten by a coyote. Flyers and hand written letters have gone to each house in a 2 street radius. We have done what we can. We will continue, but now it is likely not up to us.

💖🙏 Place several bowls of water in a few locations - in case she gets 'released' from a garage for example...cover all possibilities. Dear guardian...do not lose hope and continue to take action IN PERSON - this is KEY - combination of online and in person is crucial. Continue to knock on your neighbor's door by door, distributing FLYERS and posting up flyers beyond 1 block in all directions. Print the attached google map of your block with address #s showing and take notes on who you spoke to and who to keep trying (if not home) this systematic approach helps you stay on track in making sure every single resident is aware of your kitty and ask them to search their garages, storage units, yards, under porches …. Yes Kitty could be stuck or a neighbor took her inside not knowing she has a guardian - so you must cover ALL possibilities! And many people think if they dont see or hear a cat - that it must not be around - not necessarily the case...cover all🙏💖🐱 GAIN ACCESS TO NEIGHBORS YARDS Call out for kitty in a NORMAL calm voice throughout the day and especially AT NIGHT - LATE NIGHT. Set your alarm for 9pm 11pm 1AM, 3AM 5AM ..call for kitty and wait…only Kitty will decide if it’s safe to come forward ..be patient…it can take hours, days or longer. Every cat is different… ***PLACE A CAMERA*** (motion activated with night vision) pointed at a bowl of wet food near the escape point and review footage daily/nightly - you can't believe how many times a cat will return home - eat - has no way of getting back inside and the owners stops going out at night so the cat disappears back into the night...you may see other cats, raccoons and other creatures eat the food..that's ok...replace the WET food only (raccoons LOVE dry cat food so wet is better) you can buy on amazon over night (connects to wifi)...OR if no wi-fi then buy a wild life camera with playback feature (battery operated - no wifi needed) ...continue to check your local animal shelter/s online daily and go visit in person weekly. WiFI Camera with night vision example https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07Z841XYD?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_dp_TXPMEVSKHVVCW2PBGK0C WIldlife camera wifi not needed / eight AA batteries: You have to manually check footage https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B099F54JJ4?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_dp_T6Y056KTG9ZEENJKTW79 Do NOT give up...Lost Cat ‘Clementine’ was finally spotted after 29 days 1.5 yards away! a neighbor who we flyered and spoke to 2 weeks earlier spotted kitty in her backyard and we ended up having to trap her because she remained in survival mode and wouldn't come forward to her human (a few days later she was back to normal). And then there was lost cat ‘Lina’ of 2 weeks was spotted returning home (video footage in backyard) but was too scared to come inside - the owner had to coax her for hours and hours for 2 nights...each cat is different and needs our patience and determination… I know how stressful it is with kitty out there. Search for kitty every single day and night. And Do NOT lose hope! You WILL find kitty. Let me know if you need help creating the Flyers (Template found on www.happycatlady.com) I'm happy to send you final draft for printing; (no charge I just want to help if I can). FYI I usually order PRINTS online for pick up at the nearest Fedex (cheaper than most places) and then I call the store to ask if they can PLEASE print right away and when they learn about lost kitty - they ALWAYS do! Also , you can buy tape and the clear sheet protector sleeves there to protect your flyers from getting ruined in the weather - Post flyers up around your block -Buy GOOD TAPE! Wishing you LOVE, sustained hope and steadfast determination…xoxxoxo 🐯💜damia 650-339-6619 visit www.happycatlady.com for Lost Cat Flyer template PS Check online DAILY for ‘found’ cats at your local shelters but don't depend on this as the sole way of finding kitty - so this along with all the in person searching - you want to cover all possibilities. 💖🙏 !! WARNING !! New Scam Alert. Scammers will text you saying they’re affiliated with Pawboost and that they HAVE YOUR CAT and that YOU need to PROVE who you are by giving other phone numbers, your email, verifying google codes etc . These are all SCAMMERS - they may tell you meet them somewhere BUT THEY WON'T Send you a PHOTO of your cat (they'll make up any excuse) Tell them you know they are scammers and to stop! Please Trust that If a neighbor sees or has your cat they will give you info freely and not play any strange ‘prove you are the owner of kitty’ games…

It’s dark and quiet now….Right now is the ideal time to go outside and call for her in a NORMAL and very CALM voice ..repeat over and over and wait...crinkle treats and continue to call for her... set your alarm for 11pm 1am 3am 5am… only Kitty will decide when its safe to come forward (if kitty is not stuck) BE PATIENT…it can take hours…cats hide when they are scared and they are very stealthy hiders….leave wet food and water outside..and keep calling… praying for her safe return .. so sorry for this ongoing stress and worry... 🐱💖💖
