Toni Marie He always has his collar on when we take him outside. It was early this morning and we didn’t think about it. His collar had an air tag sewed into it for that said reason. But yes - he’s 15 years and still has a lot of energy for his age. He’s never done it before!

Good to know! I have also seen where a dog always has it's collar and ID tag on except when it gets a bath. Then they run off after the bath - and no ID! They are faster than we can imagine.

Toni Marie We do have a collar on him but take it off when he’s inside. It was a moment of lapsed judgement and we will make sure it doesn’t happen again. Thank you for passing judgement on us! It’s truly appreciated.

Chris Ware - Looks like you have found the dog's owners! I guess they can pick him up in the morning from the shelter. Thank you for helping. I hope they will put a chip and ID tag on him in case this happens again, if not already done. They would have had him back quickly.
