Please follow a missing cat report, but the Chesapeake animal shelter. If Fezziwig is chipped, please make sure the registry has your contact information. Tonight after 10 PM, go out on your yard with a bag of kitty treats and flashlight. Walk around calling your cats name and shaking the kitty treats bag. Use the flashlight to look in the bushes to see if your cat is hiding. Indoor cats usually only run 5 to 7 houses from their own home. Print flyers with your cats picture and your contact information and take them around to the neighbors. Tell them just to call you if they see your cat. Ask them if they’ve been in their shed or outbuilding since the kitty went missing. Cats will hide in a shed an outbuilding anywhere that they feel is safe. Then the owner closes the door on the cat can’t get out. You have to be standing right next to the shed to hear them crying. They also hide in garages so that’s another place to check. Look under a deck, porches, and any houses that have an opened crawlspace.
