Bena is Missing in Sacramento, CA

Description

Bena is my service dog. She is microchopped. She is a 14 year old female. She is all black with a short smooth coat, except for her greying chin & face. She is 12lb small. She has brown eyes. Her ears stand up except when she is scolded. She has a small green tattoo on her belly to indicate that she is spayed. She is very sweet & rarely barks. Bena was disgnosed with a serious heart problem February 13, 2025 & should be taking the 3 meds prescribed to her. ShShe was last seen wearing a black harness with a thick braided black leash near Loaves & Fishes in Sacramento. I looked for Bena every day after in that same neighborhood. I spoke to a woman named Christy shortly after Bena was lost that said she had found Bena & had been taking care of her. She told me that she would go get Bena & she would be back in 20 minutes....but she didn't return. There is a reward for any information that leads to Bena's return . Bena has been missing for 6 weeks. She was just diagnosed with a heart condition in February & has 3 different she is supposed to be taking. I am highly concerned for her health & well being. She is missed more than words can described. She is not only my service dog for my PTSD but also my family & my very best & closest friend. Please help to bring her to me. We were visiting my Mom in Sacramento, when Bena was lost. We are from Sonoma County. So neither one of us knows the area. My heart is heavy in her absence. It feels as if a part of me has been torn away.
