Message from Finder

Found this tiny black kitten near Tennessee Rugby Park on May 11. He was alone in the road and ran to ditch area and I did not see a mama cat or any littermates nearby. He appears to be only around 4–5 weeks old and is still needing frequent care and feeding. I’m taking care of him and hoping to either find his owner/mama or, if none are found, a loving good home for him to go to. Please share. ❤️

Thank You for being so Kind and helping this Kitty!! You may want to put the Kitty on PawBoost.com They help find lost owners. Check with Neighbors where you found her and ask the area mailman—they usually know about pets in their area. Also, if you have a Neighborhood e-page you may want to put the Kitty on there as well. They usually cover several Neighborhoods. Put up signs at intersections near where the Kitty was found. Use neon colored poster board with bold black writing on them - and a picture if possible. Take the Kitty to the Vet to be scanned for a chip to hopefully identify the owner. Be sure to ask for proof and Vet references (and look up the Vet and call them), ask to see pics (most people have pics of their pets on their phones) before you give the Kitty to anyone who says it is theirs. Some people take pets to sell or worse. Thank You again. You are the kind of people the world needs more of!!

If able, try posting on the local Nextdoor app (if possible), lost .petcolove .org and watching craigslist. If you post to other groups, be sure to add the county, city and state to your posting since the posting may be shared nationally. Also, take flyers to shelters and vet offices with a photo and report the pet found. They have a board for both lost and found pets. Remember, not everyone is on Social Media. (Ask for proof of ownership by either vet records or a picture from the phone.)

Please bring him to Young Williams. They are no shelter and he will forester him out to somebody who can properly take care of him and nourish him with the nutrients he needs. Blessings for helping this guy.
