DO THIS RIGHT NOW I network and rescue so you must know that when a dog is found and the dog doesn’t go to a shelter ….people in “rescue” will “help” by moving dogs hundreds and thousands of miles away thinking they are sending dogs on transport to save animals from being killed in shelters. While this is true, it also skips the step of reuniting lost pets with owners searching for them. Keep this in mind when entering your search. You just adjust the parameters for your area, or make several search set ups. To this day I still get the emails I set up for this search below. THIS HELPS ALL LOST PETS ENDING UP AS STRAYS OR SURRENDERED BY STRANGERS OR RESCUED BY ORGANIZATIONS FIND THEIR WAY HOME. If you have lost a dog.....or are looking for one …. Enter your zip code of where the dog went missing or where you want to start looking Select 100 miles (or more to search) (Because if a pet is found a rescue may have pulled it and the foster parent is 30 miles away —-this is how rescue works) Enter your dog you are looking for by doing the following: But leave out the and age of the dog.
