This cat was lost in New Jersey but we adopted and i took to the vet he was very happy. But he used like jump by the window sometimes and he never came back after that. I miss my cat so much I’m worry about him just wondering if he okay he lived with me for 5 years. Now he is gone. My kids miss him too

Ask neighbors to check property, he may have gone in somewhere and got locked in accidentally. Check at dawn and dusk, they tend to hide and come out at those times. Check animal care centers on 110th between 1st and 2nd in Harlem, and make a lost pets report with them. Check all their locations in all boroughs, but the Harlem in the main one. Google and search social media for local rescues, not all have a facility and use those outlets. Hang flyers. Check found section of pawboost.com. Check Craigslist and other sites that may sell pets. Good luck.

First put out a big bowl of water. Then, did you try the kitty litter trick? Take some litter from their box and sprinkle outside leading to your door then call them constantly especially at dawn and dusk and when it's quiet. Kitty will follow its scent and your voice home. It's no doubt scared and hiding. You can also try a stinky can of sardines! Or if kitty is a cuddler, try putting an article of your clothing by your door. Also check area garages, under car hoods, shelters, Nextdoor and Pawboost for found kitties in and near your zip. Don’t give up. And post flyers around your neighborhood. Good luck! And please keep your kitty inside if you let it out!! Between coyotes, diseases, bad actors and cars, there are so many ways harm can come to them. Finally, if your kitty isn’t fixed, please spay/neuter!
