MESSAGE FROM OWNER
Cairo got out of the hse Saturday night night, and he has not come since. He always comes in the morning for breakfast anytime he slips out of the hse, or he’ll respond to me if I call for him outside. This is the first time he has not returned the following morning, and I’m sick with worry he might have been attacked by something. I’ve heard that this neighborhood has experienced coyotes attacking small pets in the past, but thus far, I have not come across his remains. I have circled around the neighborhood so many times trying to call for him, but I see no sign of him. I’ve walked outside of the community to neighboring shops to see if maybe he’s wandered out. I’ve checked as many bushes as I possibly can, and along the cs that border the community. From what I know about his behavior, he typically stays on our block and tries to stay hidden. He’s a bit skittish, so I can’t imagine he’s approach someone to be friendly. Best case scenario, someone in the neighborhood found him and he was taken inside. Worst case scenario, he was attacked and is dead. It’s also crossed my mind that maybe a person hurt him and discarded of his body. Please, if you have any information on his whereabouts, please let me know. If he has been attacked by something and you’ve seen his remains, please let me know so I can retrieve him. Cairo is the first pet I’ve ever owned in my adult life and I consider him like my son. He showed up on my doorstep as a kitten, and he’s been in my care ever since. He’s been part of my life for all of the ups and downs…I really don’t want to believe this is how our journey together ends. Please help me find him and bring him !!!
