Ines Diazyou obviously do not know much about cats. It's a shame you are spreading your feelings as gospel.

William Palmer all your reasoning, avoids looking at the scientific facts; a coyotes running speed is 40 mph, while a cat’s is 30 mph. Cats are not wild animals, they have been domesticated creatures for thousands of years and don’t know the dangers they face outdoors with coyotes, dogs, and other predators. Whether an AirTag a GPS it doesn’t make a difference, all it does is give you a location of the cat’s body, AND their cat is still missing. Tough talking people like you don’t look at the facts, you interject your biases in your decision-making. Cats need to be protected by their owners, not put into risky and dangerous situations by their owners.or your cat will eventually became a victim of a coyote as so many others do! And you’ll probably go out and get another one and do the exact same thing with him! Sad people don’t understand or learn from mistakes AND it’s the cat that pays the price.

Ines Diaz There's only one dog around and it's afraid of my cat. I've seen coyotes run from my cat, and there's no cars around, due to the size of property. I have see him go after a deer once..... It's not an air tag, those are useless to me. The tracker uses GPS satellite, cell phone towers and blue tooth. I can track him, even if I'm other side of the world. I leave food for him, which he rarely touches. He is an apex predator and he hunts for his food. He is not the typical indoor cat. He's a semi feral barn cat. Putting a leash on him will only make him angry and me getting bit and clawed a few times....

William Palmer AirTags give pet owners to fall sense of security. The collar does nothing to protect him from dogs, coyotes, cars. Only leashing him to take him outside will do that.
