Put a dish,not a can of fishy wet food,or tuna outside near the escape area, put a minicamera pointing at the food, and observe from your devices what animals go up to the food dish,if you see your cat, later,or the next night, set up a humane trap (Havahart type) nearby,put the food dish inside, it's suggested to put cooked chicken in the dish inside, and put fishy wet food on the outside of it. Put the minicamera inside the trap,attach it to its ceiling, with the lens pointing down,so you can see what animals go inside. Post on Nextdoor in Cat Owner's group, and in Lost and Found Pets group, post on Neighbors app, they're both good resources to notify the community you don't need a Ring camera to post on Neighbors. Petcolovelost 24Petconnect are good sources to search and post on, too, they also offer free flyers for download. Many animal shelters and animal control services post their animals on Pawboost Petcolovelost and 24PETCONNECT, but don't rely on online, go into the shelter a couple of times a week to look through the cages, bring proof of ownership; Pictures, most recent vet bills

General Information: Set up a scent station. Hang clothes with your scent on it (Worn clothing from owner) high up outside so the familiar scent can travel and guide the cat back home. NO CAT BOX OR FOOD (as that attracts predators) . Ask your neighbors to check their yard/could be accidently stuck in their garage or shed. (If applicable) Check doorbell or home camera - or ask neighbors to check their camera. Post Fliers with a picture of the cat and your contact information in the area the cat went missing. Not everyone is on Social Media and posters have worked in that if spotted a location can be provided. If a cat is scared they make themselves safe by finding a good hiding spot and often times hide in silence. Look in bushes - bring a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Best time to find your cat is in the early morning hours when the noise level is low and they feel safe. Leave an access point open for the cat to return. This is important if they do come back in the middle of the night. Prayers your cat returns/ or is found safely. Beware of scammers.
