Shared. Post the pup on Nextdoor, and file a found report with the shelter right away. You don't have to surrender the pup to file the report. Post flyers in the area, including veterinary offices and pet stores. Not everyone checks social media, this might be the way to find the family. Talk to neighbors when you post flyers, someone might know something. If they have security cameras, ask them to check the video for any clues. Check on Pawboost, the pup could be reported missing on the website. Go back on their posts at least a few weeks to be sure. Ask for proof when someone contacts you to claim the pup, like veterinary records and pictures of the pup with the person/family. And pay close attention to the pup's reaction to the person. If no information can be found and you need to rehome the pup, please contact local rescue groups for advice and help. Good luck 💕
