If not neutered he could have gone around 5 miles away and being detained by a female in heat.

Im so sorry that Pumpkin is missing! If he's normally indoors only, there's a good chance he is hiding close by. I second going out after 10:00 pm, take wet food and open the can outside. Call him using the pet names you have for him, and maybe carry a worn piece of clothing or used bath towel with you. They have a strong sense of smell. Best of luck getting your sweet boy home!

Look for him cat hrs 10pm- 2am.. thats when I failed my cat after 39 days.. I was looking for him during the day. I was going to bed by 10… That’s when you start looking… he was just two doors down, walking down the street.. so please try
