Is the cat microchipped? Is the chip registered with an online service? Is your contact info up to date on the registry? Is the cat listed as missing on the registry?

Beware the scammers!! You should not 1) provide or confirm any codes texted or sent to you (this is a scam to break into your SM or other accounts.) 2) send money to any "Vet clinic" who calls you asking for $ via an app like Venmo or Zelle or PayPal to treat your "hurt pet." The fraudsters can even make it look like the call is coming from a phone number associated with a Vet clinic. But, hang up and dial the number for yourself and the Reps at the clinic will have no record of such call or of your dog. 3) contact any "pet finder" or "pet medium" on Instagram or any other platform. That is a scam and the person recommending ot is the scammer under an alternate profile.

I am sure you have already, but just in case, make sure you have posted a lost pet report on the HHS website : https://hawaiianhumane.org/lost-and-found/ Check both categories of found pet postings there as well. One shows all the Strays found and brought in to HHS to be help at their facility. The other shows all the Community Cate pets being fostered by their finders until an owner comes forward!
