The dog is well taken care of and he seems socialized. There doesn't appear to be any matting on him so I am assuming that he hasn't been on the street for an excessive amount of time. I have been giving him great meals but I'm going to have to turn him into a shelter tomorrow as I have not had any luck finding his owners. I really want him to go back to the people who loved and cared for him. Or to anyone that will continue to treat him well and love him.

Here are some guidance steps of additional things to do IF YOU FIND A DOG: • Please contact the local animal shelter to file a found report or have them come pick up the dog (THIS IS A MUST). That’s the first place people look for their missing pets and not everyone is on social media. • Take dog to any vet office to scan for a microchip, it’s free. • Post the dog on Nextdoor, Ring and local FB lost & found pages. • Hang “Found” signs within the neighborhood, as not everyone is on social media. • Walk the dog around the neighborhood to see if anyone recognizes him/her and if he/she leads you to its home.
