Go out late tonight when it’s very quiet. Take a flashlight and a bag of treats. Softly call his name and shake the treats. Shine the light EVERYWHERE he could possibly be! Talk to your neighbors. Put something with his/your scent on it out on the front porch. He’s probably not far away. When he’s back, PLEASE keep him indoors! Prayers for his safe and speedy return! 🙏🐾🥰

This site has good advice. Put out dirty clothes from the owner on your porch as cats can smell long distances and leave a door open. Walk around shaking treats and talking in a normal voice, but do NOT call his/her name. Play cat meows from YouTube & walk around day & night. This has helped find 2 cats! Hope he/she comes home soon. 🙏 Post neon flyers all around the area! Put out a cat trap if you know the area he/she may be and use an outdoor camera to make sure you are alerted immediately if he/she is caught. Walk around at night with a flash light too. Check in bushes and under cars near your home, and check on the next street over, especially in the evening with a flashlight, calling out to him/her and making a familiar sound. And ask neighbors if he/she may be trapped in their garage or shed. Also, check websites of your local / county animal shelters for their recent acquired cats. They often have a section you can view their photos and details. It may be better to go there in person as well. I hope he/she is found soon🙏🏻

General Information: Set up a scent station. Hang clothes with your scent on it (Worn clothing from owner) high up outside so the familiar scent can travel and guide the cat back home. Ask your neighbors to check their yard/could be accidently stuck in their garage or shed. (If applicable) Check doorbell or home camera - or ask neighbors to check their camera. Post Fliers with a picture of the cat and your contact information in the area the cat went missing. Not everyone is on Social Media and posters have worked in that if spotted a location can be provided. If a cat is scared they make themselves safe by finding a good hiding spot and often times hide in silence. Look in bushes - bring a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Best time to find your cat is in the early morning hours when the noise level is low and they feel safe. Leave an access point open for the cat to return. This is important if they do come back in the middle of the night. Prayers your cat returns/ or is found safely. Beware of scammers.

Knock on neighbours doors and put out flyers everywhere. Do offer rewards. Also go out in the night. You can hear him better then. Check the pounds too. Airtags on collars help greatly.
