Update: I have the cat in my cat carrier now. Plainfield Police is picking him up to scan for a chip. Animal control will get him monday morning to help treat him. Poor baby is losing his eye. Contact plainfield police if you think it is your baby.

M.J. Johnson Sergott that is good news that he's getting medical care. It's sad if he loses his eye but many cats have lived long otherwise healthy lives after that surgery. Hopefully when he has recovered enough to go to the county shelter that someone who has already offered to adopt him will make his visit to the shelter brief.

Sharon Merkle He definitely requires immediate medical attention for his eye but he may be a much older cat near end of life and possibly with dementia or has some urinary condition who got out of house and roamed off.
