~~~Give a copy of the picture with information to the mailman in the area… They encounter many people & situation… Put a sign with information & picture in your front yard if you can & @ stop signs… For found animals Please take him to check for a microchip it’s free @ any Vet,Pet store etc. … Always get your animal microchipped, it gives a better chance of being reunited… There is always the possibility that a neighbor may have taken your “Fur~Baby” in thinking it was abandoned… Report any animal missing or found to your local dog pound… PetCo has free software that uses photo recognition to match your photo to photos from rescues and shelters…

Owner should check 24petconnect b/c it pulls from multiple shelters. Also check Pet Finder & Adoptapet websites to search shelters & rescues. Check breeds similar as well as "mixed breeds" & mutts b/c pets get mislabeled, sometimes. If microchip was unregistered at intake, it most likely won't be scanned again.
