People telling not to take him to a shelter, can you foster? Donate towards his care? Share the post? Tag people that might adopt or foster? It's easy to criticize shelter for euthanizing or blaming rescues for not taking all of them in, but have you all tried going after backyard breeders, asking county leaders to improve laws and not allow thousands of backyard breeders that breed them like crazy then just dump them when they can't sell them? Just a few days ago a backyard breeders with 20+ German Shephards said they want them all gone. If they go to shelter that's already overwhelmed, what do you expect them to do? Rescues don't have fosters home so they can't take them. So, place anger against Animal Shelter where it needs to go: lack of local, state laws that would minimize number of unwanted pets and backyard breeders.
