FOUND DOG... This handsome boy wandered (or was dumped) into the gated property I live on with with another hse on N. Mt Vernon near G Street. I don't know if he squeezed through the gate or if someone tossed him over the fence. He's very sweet and looks like he's been out for a few days at least. Possibly ran scared from the fireworks? His huge paws have old mud on them, one eye is either injured or possibly infected cause he doesn't like opening it and it's got a little drainage, and one of his ears is sensitive. Aside from that he appears healthy. And he is a total lover, cause as soon as i say near him, he snuggled up tp me.If anyone lost him, please let me know. I can't keep him, but I do not want to take him to a shelter. I'd really love for his owners to see this and want him (no collar), so if anyone is looking for a sweet boy as a companion, reach out and we'll talk. I'm allowing him free reign of the gated in property for now in case he IS able to squeeze through the bars of the gate and wants to go home (if he has one). If you know this dog, please reach out. If you WANT to know this dog, let's talk. If I didn't already have 2 big dogs in my tiny hse, I would keep him myself.
