My baby has never been outside this long before. She’s my world, I would do anything to have her back safely

Nicklas-Williams Rene Cherish You lack reading comprehension. Mini has always been kept indoors. How can you be this ignorant?

First 48hrs is very important. Hope some of these ideas will help... 🔻PUT OUT neon LOST posters, have your neighbors check their ring cams, sheds, garages, under the hood of their cars. Look up in trees, under bushes. 🔻PUT OUT worn clothing, SOCKS, blankets, pillowcases, if possible place where they can blow, cats can smell up to a mile away. Typically they do not travel more than 5 to 7 houses away from home. They are more likely to move at dawn and dusk. Use a flash light then to look for your kitty's eye reflection. If you have a back door, garage door, leave slightly open in case they come home to find shelter there, also call QUIETLY his/her name, shake treats if they respond to that having the door open to a safe space that it can come running back to. They're usually scared and resort to survival instincts, do not chase. ⚠️⚠️DO NOT put litter box outside as it can attract other outside critters and keep your cat from coming back home. 🔻SAME for food, but only put out if you can monitor. Notify your microchip company, mail carrier, your local shelter. Post on neighborhood apps & local lost and found groups in your area (via FB). 👀 If you do have sightings of your kitty and are unable to get them back inside please ask for help in setting a ❤️humane trap. ⚠️⚠️⚠️CAUTION👉with suggestions to contact a lost pet person or service, they should be local and well recommended! A message from someone saying they found your cat and to send a 6 digit code, it's a scam! PLEASE DON'T GIVE UP!🙏

Adding onto this. She has managed to be outside only ONCE or TWICE neither under my control, as I keep her inside as I know how unsafe the outdoors are. She is probably incredibly frightened and scared, that’s why I made the comment; she’s never been outside this long. Thank you for assuming though, your words won’t magically bring my cat back unfortunately

Nicklas-Williams Rene Cherish Oh, sorry, you assume the well fed house cat in those pictures that has no grass or appearance of the outside world is an outside cat‽ The audacity you have to respond to someone distraught over the loss of their pet's presence to say they do not love her is massive. If you're such an animal lover, don't waste your time highroading a grieving person and do something to help the animals in your community

Mini Muffin is strictly an indoor cat, she managed to escape this morning. Everyone knows I absolutely adore my cat, I’ve had her safely indoors since she was six months old when I first got her. I wasn’t even awake when she escaped. I hope truly your animals never dart away and manage to slip outside because this has been a nightmare for me

You guys let your cats outside and that's what happens eventually they never return.. if you love them you would keep them inside, away from danger and evil humans.
