Set out his litter box and bedding, he will smell his scent. Most likely, he is close. Inside cats, get out and are frightened. They hide in or under sheds, decks, bushes. Go out around bedtime and call for him, it's less peopley and noisey so they aren't as afraid to come out of hiding. I pray you get your sweet kitty home soon! I have four and have had this happen twice. I stood out in a rain storm at 2am, calling for my Charlie once. I finally coaxed him out of a neighbors shed.🤦‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
