If this is an indoor only cat that never goes out, look close. Indoor only cats when lost get scared and hide because it is unknown territory and usually do not come out when you call. Usually are within 3 or 4 houses . Put out something with your scent such as a piece of clothing or blanket. Call at dusk, dawn and night and shake the treats. Get in your neighbour's yards and look under decks, sheds, in trees, bushes or anywhere they can hide. Put up lots of posters. 🧡 PLEASE HELP US BRING CHEETO HOME 🧡 Our sweet boy Cheeto has been missing since August 7, 2026, near 5411 18 Avenue NW in Edmonton, and our family is heartbroken. Cheeto is a very friendly orange tabby with white paws and a white underbelly. He is normally affectionate and trusting, but we know that being away from home may have left him frightened and hiding. If you live in the area, please check under decks, porches, sheds, bushes, garages, and other quiet hiding spots. He may be close by but too scared to come out. If you see Cheeto, please don’t assume someone else has already reported it. Any sighting, photo, or information could help us bring him home. Please share this post with your neighbours, friends, and family in the area. We are desperately hoping someone sees him and helps reunite our sweet boy with his family.
