FOUND / POSSIBLE STRAY CAT – KNOXVILLE/BAKERTOWN WOODS AREA. 🐾💗🐾 This beautiful long-haired black and white cat has recently begun consistently visiting my feeding station near my property and now appears to be staying nearby rather than simply passing through the area. At first, I only saw the cat late at night, but over the past week the cat has begun appearing reliably during daytime feedings as well and has become increasingly observant of my daily routine. The cat appears cautious but not aggressive and has been eating and drinking regularly from a sheltered feeding and water station. There is currently no visible collar or identification. At this time, I do not know whether this cat is: • a lost indoor/outdoor pet, • an abandoned stray, • or a feral-born cat surviving outdoors. I am continuing to monitor behavior closely and am preparing to humanely trap for the purpose of having the cat scanned for a microchip and evaluated through Young-Williams Animal Center if no owner is located.
