This cat has visited me every once in awhile since may but lately he’s been hanging around a ton and seems like he’s been hanging out on my porch. So I’ve been giving him water and attention and now I’ve let him inside. He’s the sweetest thing in the world and clearly is lost. I thought he may have been a neighbors cat. He has no interest in going back outside. Hope he has an owner but I’m happy to keep him if not. I’ve called the phone numbers on the tag multiple times with no answer.

Cadynce Ziola its possible the owner changed phone number and forgot to change tag.. have you had cat scanned for a microchip.. since it's ear clipped it maybe been picked up with other feral cats and got fixed & ear clipped but they didn't release back outside because he was adoptable.. if done by a rescue group most will microchip before adopting Or possibly John A. Brassner can assist with phone research to find another phone number for owner

To everyone seeing this post he just came to me when I got home and it is 115 degrees outside. And that’s just unacceptable. He’s been drinking water for the past five minutes. So I’ll be keeping him and trying to work that out with the owner. If any body has any cat supplies they don’t need it would be greatly appreciated!!

You would but such an angel if you could keep him like you said in your post. I get so tired of people who have babies and then kick their pets out of the house. There is no reason for that. I had 2 babies with a cat and he did nothing but protect them. You just have to teach children to respect animals.
